Dahlia Tuber Sale Policy & Terms
Our 2025 Dahlia Tuber sale will be on Saturday, March 22nd at 11 AM EST.
All varieties will show as “Sold Out” prior to the sale. The website will be taken down at 9 AM on March 22nd so that we can enter inventory and will reload automatically at 11 am when the sale begins. You will not need a password to shop the sale.
We guarantee that our tubers are true to variety and will arrive with at least one viable eye. Our tubers are stored in a quality controlled environment.
An item placed in your cart does not mean that item is reserved. Your order is only confirmed once you checkout and receive an order confirmation number and email.
Upon receiving your order, please open and inspect your tubers immediately and report any questions or concerns via email to: stonebornpottery22@gmail.com within 5 days of receipt. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us immediately. Anything after 5 days, the tuber is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
After that 5 days, we cannot be held responsible for any tuber issues; for example: improper storage, shrivel, weather, growing conditions, pest damage, plant performance.
Tubers will be shipped via USPS priority mail to U.S. only.
Tubers will ship beginning April 1st. You will receive a notification once the order ships with a tracking number.
The cost of shipping is outlined below:
Flat rate: $10
Each additional item to order: $1
LOCAL PICKUP: To pick up your order here at the farm, please choose the pickup option at checkout. Farm pickup will be available Saturday, April 12th from 10am-2pm ONLY. Our address will be included as part of your confirmation email.
If you fail to pick up your order within the given time frame above, your order will be cancelled and refunded.
According to the American Dahlia Society's virus research, an average of 87% of healthy, asymptomatic dahlia plants carry at least one dormant virus. Unfortunately, it is a common thing in the dahlia world, and we do our best to keep our plants healthy and virus free. On our farm, we are VERY vigilant about examining plants for viruses and culling any that look diseased. Tools are cleaned and sanitized between cuts and during the dividing process. Additionally, we do not open our fields for outside harvesting.
Please be advised that we do not test every plant for viruses. Because of this, we cannot guarantee for 100% certainty that there is no dormant virus within tubers. Buyers buy at their own risk knowing and understanding this information. We do not refund for plants displaying viruses as plants can be grown in varying environments that affect the tuber after it is planted.
As mentioned above, the buyer assumes all risk when buying tubers. Once the tuber is past the 5 day mark and/or placed in the ground, Stoneborn Pottery & Flower Farm can not be held responsible for outside factors that contribute to the health and vigor of the plant. Refunds will not be offered after the 5 day grace period unless the tuber does not meet our true variety guarantee.
AND FINALLY, we just want to say thank you so much for all of your support. We are a small farm, and sharing our flowers brings us a lot of joy. At the end of the day, we're just a couple of dreamers who love growing flowers! We want you to have the best experience possible, and I hope you know we're doing *our best* to provide that experience.
From one dahlia lover to the next, CHEERS!
